Sensitive health data is not requested. Do not upload health or medical information.

- Provide, operate, and improve the Service (e.g., process SDIF/HY3 files into database records; generate rankings; display meet results).
- Authenticate users; maintain security; prevent fraud and misuse.
- Communicate with you (service announcements, updates, support).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
- With your or your organization’s permission, publish meet information and rankings that may be publicly viewable.
7) Minors & school data
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and children may not create personal accounts. Student-athlete information is submitted by authorized adults (e.g., coaches/teams/organizations). Where applicable, we act as a service provider to schools/organizations and process student data under their instructions and policies (e.g., FERPA where applicable). If data was submitted without proper authority, contact us at privacy@meetdirector.online to request correction or deletion.
8) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to our role (access controls, encryption in transit, backups, monitoring). No method is 100% secure. Please use strong passwords, enable MFA where offered, and report security issues to security@meetdirector.online.
9) Retention
- Account data: kept for the life of the account and a reasonable period thereafter (e.g., up to 24 months) unless deletion is requested or required earlier.
- Server logs: typically retained up to 12 months (shorter/longer where needed for security/compliance).
- Rosters/results: retained to provide the Service and historical records at the direction of organizations and meet hosts.
- Backups: periodically purged on a rolling schedule (e.g., 30–90 days).
10) Your privacy rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights such as access, correction, deletion, portability, and to limit or object to certain processing. U.S. state laws (e.g., California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Virginia) and international laws (e.g., GDPR) provide additional rights for residents of those jurisdictions.

Do Not Track: We do not respond to DNT signals at this time.
11) International transfers (EEA/UK)
Personal data may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect personal data transferred from the EEA/UK.
