MeetDirector Online · Knowledge Base
Guides for everyone who uses MeetDirector Online. Read them here, or download the PDF to print or pass around.
Everything a coach needs: getting your team, managing your roster, uploading and reading results, and putting other coaches and meet directors on your staff.
Getting set up as a meet director, creating your meet from a Hy-Tek event file, and uploading the results afterwards.
A whole season step by step: setting up your team, taking entry fees by card, putting your meet online from Meet Manager, entering other teams' meets, changing entries before the deadline, and posting results.
For swimmers and their parents: linking your record, following your times, setting goals, and keeping a private journal.
For timing companies: registering your company, connecting to client clubs, running their meets, uploading entries and results, and how the per-splash surcharge works.
For college coaches: registering your program, planning your next four recruiting classes, finding swimmers who fit, and connecting with them and their families the right way.
For coaches: what to do when the same swimmer is in MeetDirector twice — how to propose a merge, who confirms it, and how to stop duplicates happening.
For coaches and team admins: approving coaches who ask to join, adding them yourself, handing over the team-admin role, and appointing meet directors.
For coaches: fixing a misspelled name, a wrong birthdate or a missing USA-Swimming number, and what a change does to past results.
How power points compare swims across different events, how each week’s winners are chosen at conference, classification and region level, and why an upload after the week is published misses it.
